Deco shape 6 by TazioBettin Deco shape 6 by TazioBettin
Another custom shape in a deco style. Yeah, it's my daily deco :)
Click on the download file button to get the zip.
And the preview showing a possible application. The downloadable file is just the shape, it doesn't include textures, which come from CG Textures [link]

And here's today's daily deco.

I would LOVE to have this be my ENTIRE pop wall in my living room.  How can I make that happen?

On an entire wall???
Well first of all, that you think it's good enough to decorate a room fills me with joy. That's the best compliment an artist can hope to hear.
As per how to do it, I don't have this file at a high enough resolution to make it look any decent in print. The file you can download is just the custom shape. It can be resized and fit theoretically any space, but it's just a black line. Maybe the only safe way to have it done in an aesthetically pleasing way is to have some good painter who could reproduce this motif on your wall...

Thank you, Tazio!

It really IS that beautiful!  I found a site that says it can make a decal OR wallpaper...so I don't exactly know how it would go.

But the first thing they asked was whether I had permission to use the image, and I just wanted to reach out to you first!

We saw a few of your deco pieces that we could've used!  We had to settle on ONE!!  I'm attaching the instructions from the site DesignYourWall.com on how to do this...Maybe it won't work...

But I wanted to let  you know how much we love your work!!

Custom Ordering TipsCopyright
  • Please make sure that you have copyright permissions to use the images submitted.
  • We'll need you to attest that this is true.
  • Images with globally known brands (Nike, Coca cola, Mircosoft, Disney, etc.) as the primary focus will not be accepted.
Lead time
  • Please allow for sufficient time for ordered to be processed
  • Custom Design vary according to the order
  • Custom Print times are between 1-3 weeks.
Image resolution for images submitted
  • We need an original file that has enough resolution to work with while not being unwieldy
  • If your file is larger than 10MB, you can contact us.
  • Maximum 600dpi (dots per square inch) to allow enlargement
  • Minimum 100dpi at actual print size.
File types accepted
  • regular .jpg, .png, .tiff, .eps, .pdf (Photoshop file)
  • If you have another file format or original artwork that you want our design team to work on, please make a note of it and we will contact you to work out the details
Tazio...Maybe your idea about finding a painter to recreate this is something I will consider...would that be ok with you?

Best regards,

Melanie

It's in creative commons. You needn't ask my permission as long as you fulfill the clause for creative commons attribution sharealike
besides, it's for personal use so... go ahead and feel free, but please if you do, take a picture and show me, I'd love to see it once it's done!

Have you seen the John Adams building in Washington DC?

Look up loc.com (library of congress) and go to the "prints and photographs" section, you will see a collection called the "Highsmith (carol M) Archives" at the top. In it is pictures of various places and bwutiful building in america, but among the most photoed is the Thomas Jefferson and John adams building of the Library of congress. Check out the Jogn Adams building, you would like it.

Where on CG textures do you get the stainless steel look from, is incredible.
