Maria by TazioBettin Maria by TazioBettin
And now my friends and I are playing Monster of the Week ([link]) an RPG about monster hunters a la Supernatural, X-Files and Fringe.
My character is a Constructed, so I decided she's an amber and bronze automaton whose power comes from electricity (amber, in Greek elektron, that's where the word electric comes, fyi). It was created by the late Dr.Lang, who named her Maria. As you may have noticed, I'm citing Fritz Lang's Metropolis wherever I can :D (including the art deco vibe). We only started a session but we're already having a lot of fun!

This makes me think of the Machine people from Alistair Reynolds's "House of Suns" novel. Very nice work. If you read the novel, you should do a "Hesperus".

Nope, never ever heard of that novel... I'll look it up in Goodreads.
The inspiration, at any rate, is of course Maria from Fritz Lang's Metropolis.

Your art is just staggering, your women are perfectly sculpted, I am just in awe.  I am searching out all of your original creations, hopefully I will be able to do some fanart eventually! :)

This is simply beautiful. It reminds me of an Alphonse Mucha character, Leonardo DaVinci's "Vitruvian Man" or "Venus on the Half-Shell", all with that wonderful Art Deco flavor. Just lovely. I challenge you to top yourself, but I don't think you can. It's just too good. :)

Do I offend you if I answer with a "holy shit!"?
Quite an intense comment, thanks!
