Feeling veeeeeery Mignola-style lately :D
Just a character for a Monster of the Week game, but boy I had fun. If you know the game, she's an Expert, a Mean Brit [link] and a Ms.Fanservice [link] as well as a Badass Bookworm [link]
She also provides examples of Alliterative Name [link] Dual Wielding [link] Doesn't Like Guns [link] Purely Aesthetic Glasses [link] adjusted by the bridge [link] and although not literally, Jade Colored Glasses [link]
During play she managed to bring in Chekov's Skill [link] and a You Wouldn't Believe Me If I Told You [link]

basically, it's a roleplaying game based on tv series like Supernatural or Buffy, where a group of (often unlikely) heroes investigate mysteries related to monsters, usually culminating in an encounter with the monster itself. It's based on the so-called Powered By Apocalypse game engine, which derives from the rpg Apocalypse World by Vincent Baker.
Tvtropes doesn't specifically relate, it's just my addition (or addiction, both are true!)

recommended. Also, the game Monster of the Week is based on it. But the original is much better.
