So my friends Rafu and Mario and I were playing On Mighty Thews by Simon Carryer [link] (one of my favorite RPGs) and this scene came up where the two protagonist were searching for the crown of the First King in the Aerial Necropolis, a city entirely made of wooden aerial tombs, and we had to face the god who protected this place, most aptly a vulture god. The Ivory Lioness was meant to stall it while the other character carried on the search... but a superlucky roll made it possible for her to behead the god with one stroke of her khopesh! It was quite a glorious scene, and immediately after the god had died, dozens of vultures came flying and devoured the carcass, a most appropriate end. In a pang of nostalgia I felt like immortalizing the moment. This time it's completely digital, no drawing underneath for a change (I usually like to pencil and/or ink the lineart, but this time I felt like doing something different). Hope you like it.
Brilliantly done. Sounds like it was a great moment, too.
I always love seeing this character. This'd probably be my favorite picture of her, if not for the resolution. Still, it's pretty much perfect for what it is.
Ahh I see! Well, the miniatures do look beautiful, apart from the chainmail (or less!) bikini syndrome. It always make me laugh seeing in a setting that males are fully armored while females are walking sexual displays. The monsters rock, though.

That reminds me, have you heard of Kingdom Death: Monster?
